We offer a range of classes and workshops for artists of all skill levels. Here’s a look at some of the classes and workshops available at RedShed.
Marcus Hotblack ran a class in acrylic painting, with all participants working from the same photograph, done in 3 hour sessions, over 3 days once a week. Their paintings were on display at the March 2024 Open Studios in Newstead.

Making Friends with Colour
Bob Clutterbuck is running a course examining the objective principles and characteristics of colour through both theory and practice.
The course is designed to give a practical understanding of colour and a simple and flexible colour mixing method which can be readily adopted to an individual’s own aesthetic requirements.
UPCOMING IN MAY
Screenprinting Repeat Patterns
Libby Noblet will be running this course in which the a pattern repeat will be done by hand, not done by using digital technology.
The fundamentals of the design process for this method will be thoroughly covered through the experience.
4-week course, 10am-4pm, commences Tuesday 7 May
Course cost: $440
(Cost includes fabric, inks, emulsions, screens, drafting film, litho paper, stencil opaque, etc.)
