Eleni is a professional artist and teacher who has taught art classes for over 25 years in colleges, corporations and communities. Now based in Castlemaine, her art explores themes of nature and mythology within the Australian landscape. 

Overview

Discover the beauty and versatility of watercolour in this engaging one-day workshop designed for all skill levels. You will explore essential techniques including graduated and variegated washes, wet-into-wet and wet-on-dry methods, glazing, creating hard and soft edges, and dry-brush effects—building a strong technical foundation along the way.

With a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, this class helps you gain confidence while developing a clear understanding of watercolour fundamentals. 

What you will learn:
• How to create a clear, luminous painting from start to finish
• The role of tone and how to control it effectively
• Ways to incorporate mixed media for expressive, dynamic results
