Interpretive Acrylic Painting with Marcus Hotblack
Tuesdays starting 22nd October for 6 weeks
10 am - 1 pm
Marcus is an exceptional artist with an impressive CV. He has worked as an industrial designer, an illustrator and a teacher, and is proficient in oils, acrylic and watercolour.
Overview
Participants will produce two same-sized paintings.
The first painting over 3 weeks will be a representational painting, with step-by-step demonstrations and mentoring by Marcus.
The second painting, over the final 3 weeks, will be your imaginative reinterpretation of the first. Here you will be mentored and encouraged by Marcus to find your own voice using the skills you have learned doing the first canvas.
It will a fun and involving course and the RedShed hopes to display the paintings to celebrate the creative diversity of our students.
