Overview

This is a low tech method of printmaking.

You will be taught how to print without a press, using styrofoam as the print blocks, pushing materials to their limits, and experimenting on a variety of papers canvas and fabric, as well as combining styrofoam with other exciting additions resulting in unique textured works.

The focus is on printing in a way that is loose, free and spontaneous, but can still be editioned.

This is a wonderful, inexpensive method of making relief prints.

Jackie is a member of the Print Council of Australia, and Goldfield Printmakers, Firestation Print Workshop.

Course cost $190
(includes acrylic paint, brushes, rollers, styrofoam, printing slabs and some fabric)
