Overview

Painting as an Object

This workshop series will create sculptural 2D and 3D objects as creative grounds on which to paint.

The main aim is to provide artists with viable and affordable alternatives to the regular stretched canvas and paint boards.

Using cardboard cartons, ply off-cuts, canvas, calico and paper, students will produce a range of objects that can be used to enhance an existing studio practice or introduce newcomers to creative painting.

Course cost – $170

Enrolments are not yet open, but please register your interest in taking this class as previous experience shows that David’s classes fill up quickly. Email us at: info@redshed.art
