Screenprinting onto Textiles with Libby Noblet
Tuesdays starting October 3 for four weeks
10 am - 4 pm
Libby is a very experienced teacher, having taught in secondary schools and then teaching design and screenprinting in the Textile Design program for 12 years before moving to Central Victoria.
Overview
The course will cover:
- collage to screenprint;
- colour mixing and texting;
- 3 colour registered print;
- reviews;
- commencing design for final project of choice;
- hand rendering design for screen exposure;
- expose screens (print final design along with 2nd and 3rd colour; and
- printing the final design.
Libby’s approach to teaching is thorough but relaxed, allowing students to explore screenprinting methods while having fun with the design elements and techniques.
Suitable for all skill levels, no experience necessary.
Course cost: $430
(Includes material such as materials – calico & canvas – inks, emulsions, litho paper, etc.)
