Printmaking for Teachers

Clayton Tremlett is a Castlemaine-based Printmaker whose works draw explicitly from Australian History. He is renowned for his linocut portraiture; which he utilises to produce wallpapers, artist’s books, collector cards and editioned prints. His work is included in the Australian National Gallery, the State Library of Victoria, and many galleries throughout regional Victoria.
Overview
In this one-day, hands on workshop, teachers will explore the fundamentals of printmaking in the classroom. You will learn the basics of Intaglio and Relief processes, while making a drypoint and linocut print, using tips and tricks that work.
Clayton has over twenty years experience in the ART classroom, as an Education Officer at Heide Museum of Modern Art, delivering workshops for regional art galleries and PD programs for teachers in the private sector.
